No Free Pattern - Only a Video That Goes With a Paid Pattern

Image
I spent this whole week making a murloc so that I could make a companion video for my baby murloc pattern. So I've got no free pattern this week. Womp womp. Get the $$$ pattern from Ravelry !  Or Ko-Fi ! Or if for some reason you want to support the evil corporate overlords at Etsy, you can pay EXTRA to line those shareholder pockets instead of mine...on Etsy ! Giggidy! The video can be viewed for free. The pattern is not free. The pattern is money. It is not a full video pattern because I want you to buy the pattern, obviously. Milk and cows and whatever. The video means little unless you have the pattern, but here it is anyway because I need to write words for the internet search robots so that people find this blog and then find the posts that are actually cool things. There are a lot of cool things here. I tediously did the captions for this video myself. Videos take so long. Even if they aren't very good like mine. It's part of my charm though. It's my aesthetic....

FREE Pillars of Eternity Crochet Patterns - Woedica and Wael Colorwork Charts or C2C Grids

Image
Eothas and Eir Glanfath Aedyr and Steel Garrote    Alrighty, so this week I've got the symbols of Wael and Woedica for you people, since Pillars of Eternity is my present video game obsession. I don't feel like waxing poetic and doing all of the inane ramblings that are required for SEO, so uh...   Here are the patterns that I suppose you're here for. Do what you want with them. They'll work for tapestry crochet and c2c, or you can use them for other stuff...perler beads? idk, but link back here and provide credit because I tediously click a lot of little squares to make these. Please and thanks.   Check out my Ko-Fi for paid patterns and to drop a little donation my way if you appreciate the wealth of free goodies that I've provided out of the small amount of kindness left in my cold, black heart. These posts get an awful lot of views and I get awful few donations (AKA none the last several months), so uh...uhhh...I can't keep doing free things without a...

FREE Diablo Colorwork Charts - Cathedral of Light, Zakarum Cross for C2C or tapestry crochet

Image
I did these charts early and got the post all situated then just saved it as a draft instead of scheduling it to post automatically. This was 100% my bad. My brain is full of holes. I'm still going to count it as a Free Pattern Friday post...just belated.   Shifting gears again this week, apparently. I've been meaning to do the cross of the Zakarum/Cathedral of Light from Diablo for ages and ages. I kept forgetting. I remembered again and I stopped everything I was doing and made the chart at that moment then I also decided to do the more elaborate Sin War version because why not?   Here are both. Have at 'em. Save them, edit them, but link back here and give appropriate credit because I did the bulk of the pixel clicking.  Consider dropping a little dono onto my Ko-Fi and checking out my paid patterns or visiting my Etsy shop which is having a massive clearance sale right now because I'm feeling crowded in my craft space by all of the languishing items.

FREE Eothas and Eir Glanfath Symbol Crochet Colorwork C2C Charts for Patterns

Image
Pillars of Eternity is a charming delight of a game, and I think I'm nearly to where I stopped playing before. Why I stopped playing, I do not know, and I will probably never know because my brain is so full of holes that you could use it to drain rice...or something.    This week I made Eothas' symbol and Eir Glanfath. These should work just fine for tapestry crochet and C2C as well as other crafts. Be creative. Feel free to download and make changes, add more border, take border away, embroider these, whatever, whatever. I just make them. You do what you want with them. BUT, of course, link back here because sharing is caring, and we should all be spreading joy and free shit, right?   If you like my free stuff - of which there is a large amount - consider donating to my Ko-Fi , checking out my pattern shop , or stopping by my Etsy. I fear everyone has the bystander effect and thinks, "Oh, someone else will give Michelle from WoollyRhinoCrafts a few dollars, so I do not...

FREE Colorwork Grids - Aedyr and Steel Garrote from Avowed - For Crochet or Other Crafts

Image
Alright, pals. I want to get back to actually playing Avowed, so I only have two patterns this week. One would make a nice colonist empire blanket and the other is for those religious zealots out there! Before I show them to you though, I need to write more words here for the search engine robots (I'm so sorry that pattern blogs are also like recipe blogs but it's how things are and we just have to deal with it, ok?), so let's talk about Pillars of Eternity. I, for some reason, had no idea Avowed was a PoE sequel (maybe I should type that out so it isn't confused with Path of Exile?). I was pretty deep in the game and I kept thinking things sounded vaguely familiar, but I had no idea why. I was like, "Oh, this is based on something IRL, isn't it?" or so I kept thinking, and merely strolling around the Living Lands having a good time as a super-weird court auger. The thing is...I PLAYED Pillars of Eternity. I have a fair number of hours in it. But apparentl...

FREE Elder Scrolls Fighters Guild Sigaldry Sigils for c2c or tapestry crochet colorwork

Image
Next week, I might take a little break and jam out some things from Avowed, but this week I've got some Fighters Guild goodies from the Elder Scrolls. I did two versions of the symbol from ESO. I wanted to do the plain sword and then also one with the scrollwork from the banner. Is that called scrollwork? What is scrollwork? I could look it up, but I'm not going to. Also, don't answer. My questions are rhetorical and they are because I need to have more words in these blog posts for the search robots.  But I digress... As usual... No one reads this stuff and that is totally ok. Anywho. Here are the two Fighters Guild symbols. The second one I sort of more had in mind as being a finished blanket...or whatever sort of finished project. Pillow sham? Whatever. You don't need to add any extra rows or columns or anything and can work with the chart as it is for c2c or whatever.  Speaking of which, all of these grids will work for both c2c as well as tapestry crochet. They sho...

FREE Elder Scrolls Mages Guild c2c or crochet colorwork charts

Image
FREE Pattern Friday is here again! I went with the Mages Guild this week, which means Fighters Guild is next week. I also really like the Mages Guild rank symbols...sigils...whatever...from Oblivion, so they might be on the to-do list. The Elder Scrolls is providing me with a lot of things to chart and this is good. Also, surely, someone out there wants these? Link back here if you make something cool and share it. You're also welcome to download these grids and make changes to them as you see fit. They will work for colorwork crochet, c2c, and should also be fine if you want to use them for some duplicate stitch knitting. Hell, perler beads. Do it. Live your life. Oh, I threw in the College of Winterhold's symbol from Skyrim because it's technically on theme, and also I like it. Here's Morrowind's Mages Guild. Hella anticlimatic, this one. The best reference I could find was, like, a wood carving? An in-game wood carving. You know what I mean. And I need to put mor...
